Scott Fikse
Director, Northwest Sound

Scott Fikse is a multi-genre performer, director and teacher. He is currently pursuing a DMA in choral conducting at the University of Washington and serves as a graduate teaching assistant for the School of Music. An active bass-baritone, Scott sings with a number of professional vocal ensembles in the greater Seattle area. He has also performed numerous roles on the musical theater stage, in vocal jazz ensembles, and has long nurtured a love of barbershop harmony. As a director Scott is rooted in a genuine desire to help each member of the chorus achieve greater vocal freedom, artistry, and authenticity as a performer.

Rachel Pack
Director, Northwest Mix

Rachel is a passionate educator, performer, and barbershop leader with deep roots in the barbershop community. Since 2018, she has served as the director of Jet Cities Chorus in Federal Way, WA, where she leads a competitive chorus with a strong focus on positive culture. Under her direction, Jet Cities recently attended their first international contest in 30 years, a milestone that reflects both musical growth and a thriving, supportive ensemble.

As a barbershop singer, international competitor, and experienced chorus director, Rachel brings a teaching style that blends strong vocal technique, emotional connection, and confidence-building. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, encouraging environment where singers can grow together while striving for excellence.
